This Privacy Policy describes how Age Calculator ("the App", "we", "us", "our") handles information when you use our application. We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about our data practices.

Age Calculator is a utility app designed to calculate age based on dates you enter directly into the app.
Profile and preferences: Your optional name, selected avatar, birth date/time, comparison date and settings are saved locally on your device so the App can restore your profile and calculate life statistics. We do not send this profile to our own servers or deliberately include it in analytics or ad requests. Android backup and restore may include this local data depending on your device settings. If you choose to share a card or text, its content is sent to the app or recipient you select.
Device and usage data: Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics collect usage events, device/app information, identifiers and crash/diagnostic information to measure usage and stability. Automatic events may include purchases and ad interactions where supported by these services.
Advertising: Where banners are available, Google AdMob may process Advertising ID and other device identifiers, IP address, approximate location, app/ad interactions and diagnostic data. These services process data under Google's privacy policy and applicable consent settings.
Country eligibility: To limit banners to Israeli mobile networks, the App checks the current mobile network's country code locally. Unknown countries do not enable banners. This check does not use GPS or an external IP-country lookup; advertising services may separately infer approximate location from network data.
Subscriptions: Google Play handles subscription checkout and payments. The App receives product identifiers, purchase tokens and purchase/subscription status from Google Play to acknowledge payments and restore ownership. Our billing integration does not log purchase tokens or send them to a separate developer-operated backend. We do not receive your card details; Google may provide order and financial information through Play Console.
The App does not require an account or ask for your email address or phone number. An optional profile name remains local as described above. Google Play may process account and payment information when you make a purchase.
4. Third-Party Services
The App uses the following third-party services, which process data as described in their own privacy policies:
Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics — to understand app usage and diagnose crashes.
Google AdMob and Google's User Messaging Platform — to display eligible banners and manage applicable advertising consent and privacy choices.
Google Play Billing — to process subscription payments and provide purchase status, acknowledgement and restoration.

5. How We Use Information
Any technical or usage data collected through third-party SDKs is used to:
Monitor and improve app performance and stability;
Understand how users interact with the App;
Display eligible advertisements and respect applicable privacy choices;
Process, acknowledge and restore Google Play subscriptions.
6. Data Storage and Retention
Your profile and preferences are stored locally until you edit them, clear the App's data or uninstall the App; Android backup/restore may retain or restore them according to your device settings. We do not operate a profile or subscription-token backend. Google retains purchase/order records under its own policies. Technical data and consent records processed by third-party SDKs are retained under their providers' retention policies.
7. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. Data is processed by Google services for analytics, diagnostics, advertising and billing as described above. Content you explicitly share is delivered to the apps or recipients you choose.
8. Children's Privacy
Age Calculator is not directed at children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at diyappstudio@gmail.com so we can address it.
9. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to:
Request information about data collected about you;
Clear locally stored profile data through Android's app-storage settings;
Ask us or the relevant service provider about access or deletion of data they retain, subject to applicable legal and transaction-record requirements;
Manage advertising privacy through device settings and the App's "Ad privacy choices" entry when available and required;
Manage or cancel subscription renewal through Google Play. Clearing App data, uninstalling or leaving a testing program does not cancel a subscription.
Resetting or deleting an Advertising ID changes its future use; it does not by itself delete data already retained by a service provider.
10. Data Security
We rely on industry-standard security practices used by our third-party service providers to help protect data processed in connection with the App. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure.
11. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
